Just got back from MRFA reunion and am glad I went and met some really good guys. Was disappointed that some of the guys I served with weren't there. Would love to make contact with other guys that served / hung out with me. I was an EN3 in Repair Div from 1/70 - 9/73 when I landed in the bottom of a Mike boat going out on BID patrol. After leaving the Navy, I joined the Army guard and retired as a First Sgt.

I was on the Askari for about a year, I went on a reinlistment leave for 30 days in 1946 and when I came back they transfered me to the Askari till there was a spot for me, I was a Yeoman, I worked with a fellow named John Churchill Y1c. That was about 1946
